Security Tech was founded in 1995 by Jim Stewart, after a successful 12-year career in security sales. Jim has taken the company from a fledgling operation to its present status as being the largest security company on Maui with in excess of 2,000 customers. Our customers include many of the largest companies on Maui, and residences in the most exclusive neighborhoods around the island.

Security Tech offers comprehensive security services including: residential and commercial monitored alarm systems, closed-circuit television and access control systems, low-voltage structured wiring for home automation, and systems integration for Internet connectivity. All of our systems, and our associated central monitoring station, meet and exceed stringent UL and Hawaii building code standards and requirements.

We have four technicians on Maui, and plan to add at least one more this year as our business continues to grow. We maintain an extensive inventory of parts on Maui and our equipment distributor is located on Oahu. We can normally receive any special orders within one week.

The owner, Jim Stewart, emphasizes one overriding company principle to all of his employees, and that is to provide customer service which is above and beyond the norm. Jim’s philosophy is that our customers pay the bills and allow us to grow, and in return for this generosity we owe them nothing less than the very best service we are capable of providing.
